What we're looking for
Toyota's Global Compliance team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Case Manager. Reporting to the Global Compliance Program Senior Director, the person in this role will support and enhance the Global Speak Up program. This role requires a strong background in compliance, investigations, and global program management. The ideal candidate brings experience navigating complex, cross-functional environments and demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
This individual will possess a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, investigative processes, and risk management, along with strong communication skills to effectively engage global stakeholders and executive leadership.
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive implementation of the Global Speak Up program across 330+ global entities spanning 45+ countries
  • Review and provide guidance to regional and entity leadership on policies and procedures to effectively address local compliance needs.
  • Lead complex global Speak Up investigations in high-risk areas and matters involving executive leadership in an independent and professional manner, protecting Toyota's reputation, consumer confidence, and value.
  • Act as an advisor to subsidiary teams on the implementation of Speak Up program controls, reporting mechanisms, and training and communication initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver succinct and compelling interim and final reports to global executive leadership for decision making on globally escalated Speak Up investigations.
  • Create training materials and communication resources for the Global Speak Up program, ensuring alignment with emerging compliance risks.
  • Design and implement training programs to educate subsidiary team members on compliance reporting and ethical practices.
  • Develop comprehensive guidance materials in response to subsidiary requests to facilitate practical application of compliance policies.
  • Foster best practice sharing and continuous improvement across global compliance teams.
  • Monitor compliance with established Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and ensure ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Educate leaders on the use of KRIs to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance in support of remediation efforts following investigations and compliance assessments, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Engage with subsidiary leadership to facilitate the identification and reporting of compliance risks.
  • Monitor the overall effectiveness of the Global Speak Up program through defined KRIs and dashboards.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, criminal justice, or another business-related degree
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or legal
  • Working knowledge of fraud and anti-bribery anti-corruption risk and regulations
  • Experience conducting internal investigations in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with investigatory interview techniques
  • Ability to solve problems in challenging situations with tact, mutual collaboration, consensus building and aligned goals
  • Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Proven success in executing in a dynamic environment
