Job description

Join our Team as an Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist!

The Role:

We are seeking a collaborative and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis Specialistto join our team. In this role, you will help provide financial insights that support business planning and decision-making across the Toyota Material Handling enterprise. You will partner with teams across the organization to support profitability and expense planning, develop financial reporting, and analyze business performance. From supporting our annual financial plan to preparing insights for management and executive leadership, your work will help provide a clear picture of financial performance and inform decisions that move the business forward. If you enjoy digging into the numbers, understanding the story behind them, and turning financial data into meaningful business insights, this could be a great opportunity for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead profitability planning and analysis across different business segments.
  • Lead expense planning and analysis for departmental spending.
  • Support the development of TMH's annual financial plan.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and reporting packages for management and executive leadership.
  • Partner with business units on ad hoc projects, providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting.
  • Communicate financial information and insights effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Support special projects and additional financial initiatives as business needs evolve.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, reporting, or planning
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels

What Sets You Apart:

  • Background working within Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) operations
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP
  • Professional certification (such as Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst)
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
  • Proven ability to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies

Where and When You'll Work:

  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule-collaborate in person Monday through Wednesday either at our Columbus, IN office -OR- at our Greene, NY office and work remotely Thursday/Friday.
  • Typical first shift hours.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary-$62,353 - $73,395 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
