Toy Joy was founded in 1987 and acquired by the Wild About Music retail family in 2017. At Toy Joy we believe Toys are not just for kids, our motto is "Think Fun-Chew Well." We like to encourage all ages of shoppers to think creatively with a playful heart and savor the experience of our store and its curated products. Collectibles for all ages, Japanese toys, nostalgic toys, plush, STEAM, figures, books, blind boxes, Gundam, games, puzzles, playsets, costumes and so much more! We are independently owned retail at its best, striving to make a harmonious, safe place for people to work and shop.

Daily Duties include:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all that walk in, greeting each person individually to make them feel welcome.
  • Maintain a presentable and clean store. Continuously restock merchandise and clean when appropriate.
  • Check in and merchandise product as assigned by supervisor on duty.
  • Maintain safety standards and health codes and keep walkways clear.
  • Have fun and be joyful!


Requirements

  • Sales experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Love and knowledge of toys, books, games, collectibles and candy.
  • Artistic skills, merchandising and creativity a plus!
  • Possess a cheery and positive disposition.
  • Work and communicate well with all staff.
  • Uphold respect for yourself, fellow co-workers and customers.
  • Be able to lift and maneuver fixtures and product as necessary.
  • Spend Majority of 8 Hr shift on your feet
  • Must be able to work 24-28 Hrs/Wk, 3-4 days/Wk. Scheduled hours may change weekly but will be a mix of opening/closing shifts between the hours of 10 am and 11 pm. - flexible availability is a must.
