Job description

CapStone Solutions is a telecommunications construction company seeking an experienced RF Tower Top Hand (Tower Tech III) for the greater Kent/Seattle area.

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, configure and make repairs to telecommunications equipment in cell sites and related systems
  • Maintain and install power equipment
  • Climb towers, poles, and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair microwave and other antenna and cable equipment
  • Operate electronic test equipment including cable testers, fiber testers, battery testers, and other RF analysis equipment
  • Install outdoor cell site systems including cabinets, associated conduits, and ice bridges
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate data related to microwave systems
  • Perform power, fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide, and coaxial cable installations and testing
  • Read Scope of Work (SOW) documents and delivers project outcomes to scope and as directed
  • Rack and mount fixed telecom equipment
  • Maintaining, install, configure, adjust, and make minor repairs to microwave systems, including towers.


Qualifications

  • Ability to work safely at heights up to 500'
  • Willing to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, as needed
  • Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge
  • Team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Willingness to mentor/train others professionally, and to be mentored/trained
  • Ability to learn and retain physical and mechanical installation specifications
  • Ability to pass preliminary drug screening, criminal background check and driving background check
  • Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and communicates well
