Job description

Touro Diabetology Elective

Open only to fellows and students at Touro University CA. Potential visiting residents can inquire through Touro directly.

Apply foundational knowledge and skills related to patient assessment and treatment plans for treatment of diabetes mellitus and cariometabolic disease. This includes in pediatrics and adults: T1DM, T2DM, GDM, other DM.

Average one 8 hour session weekly for duration of rotation (rotation length varies)

Expect students to collect history and physical and work on developing treatment plans in a supervised setting, level of independence varies by level of training
