The Role
 
Must be available to work from the Purchase, NY office from May–August and at the National Tennis Center in Queens from August–September 14, 2026. Must be available on-site every day from August 23–September 14.
  • Assist with the media application process for both traditional media and the US Open Content Creator Program
    • Review applications and utilize USTA AI program to gather detailed information on applicants
    • Assist with approving and processing applications
    • Assist with writing and producing Media Operations Guides
    • Assist with publishing content on the US Open Media Only Website
    • Assist with pre-tournament press events & activations
    • Assist with set-up of US Open Media Center
  • USTA Communications Staff Office
    • Manage the front desk during the US Open
    • Provide general information to members of the media
    • Manage press seat allocation
    • Assist with daily clip process as needed
    • Assist with in-tournament special events

Who You Are 

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using basic office technology (e.g., spreadsheets, email, online systems) for tracking assignments.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and assist high-profile clients with professionalism.
  • Availability to work the full duration of the tournament, including weekends, evenings, and extended hours.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00.

Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.
