Job description

Overview:
To present a welcome atmosphere to the public and conduct guided tours of the facility
Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high speed manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organize and conduct tours explaining the brand and manufacturing process.
  • Prepare teas and assist customers with product samplings and surveys.
  • Stocking, cleaning, organizing, merchandising and communicating stock needs.
  • Operate cash register accurately.
  • Operate ticket counter, answer phone to schedule group tour reservations.
  • Rinsing, racking, dishwashing and restocking sampling cups.
  • Operate a steamer to make blended drinks.
  • Available to work some weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Communicate with management concerning staff and customer needs.
  • Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
  • Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:
    • GMP's
    • Allergen Program
    • Quality
    • Sanitation
    • Safety
  • Additional duties and various projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year experience in a tour guide capacity or related role
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • One to three years customer service experience.
  • Presentation skills -- must be able to make presentations to large groups.
  • Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced tour environment with a positive attitude.
  • Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends, holidays.
  • Excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 40-60 lbs., carry 20-40 lbs, push/pull 60+ lbs. Ability to be on feet throughout the day.
  • Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.
