POSITION SUMMARY

The Production assistant handles show day activities within the Theaters as needed by the Production Manager and tour requirements. This position is involved with Back of House assignments and reports the Production manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support touring acts as concierge; a general assistant in the touring production office.
  • Attend to specific tour requirements, dressing room set-up.
  • Provide tour required ambiance and décor for backstage dressing rooms.
  • Address any on-site set-up requests.
  • Run errands as requested by Production manager and tour.
  • Ensure that the facility is cleaned prior to, during, and after all events to maintain building appearance and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Nightly settlement of cash receipts
  • Submit service and venue repair requests to Production manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • One to two (1-2) years of production coordination experience within the concert or entertainment industry preferred.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to climb stairs regularly
  • Manage petty cash and receipts
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Valid registration for vehicle driven
  • Valid insurance for vehicle driven
  • A clean and reliable vehicle.
  • Charged cell phone that is operational
  • Need to be at least 21 years of age and have experience handling a 15 passenger van safely.
