Job description


Tour Bus Driver  Reports to: Wilderness Guide Supervisor  Category: Seasonal Position (April to September 2026)  Salary Range: $30/ hour with bonus potential. Travel Stipend included with job offer.    Position Summary:  As a Tour Bus Drivers, you will transport cruise guests and non-cruise guests to various locations at Icy Strait Point. You will get to ensure guests are transported to different locations based on the tour and scheduling.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct all activities and decisions according to Icy Strait Pointโ€™s guiding principles: BAP: Best, Authentic, Profitable
  • Provide excellent customer service to all IPS guests
  • Provide guests with general information about ISP
  • Participate in all required trainings
  • Promote other ISP venues, distribute ISP literature and/or sell ISP merchandise
  • Work as greeters to welcome guests and conduct guest orientations
  • Take tickets, and load passengers
  • Assist within programs wherever needed
  • Daily fueling and cleaning of vehicles as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements: 
  • Adequate knowledge or willingness to learn about Tlingit culture
  • Valid Class A or B CDL Driverโ€™s license with Passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate
  • Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate with ISP guests and others in a professional, friendly, and accurate manner. 
  • The Driver must be able to learn, retain and relay general ISP information. 
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements & Work Environment: 
  • Able to sit for extended periods
  • Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote setting
  • Able to walk and drive on gravel roads in inclement weather when on site.
