Sr. Operations Manager
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexibility required)

The Sr. Operations Manager (M3) leads multiple operations teams within a high-volume distribution center, driving execution, performance, and continuous improvement across core functions. This role sets operational strategy, establishes performance standards, and ensures alignment to business objectives, while delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
Operating at a senior leadership level, this role leads through supervisors and frontline leaders, influencing outcomes through people, process, and data. The Sr. Manager is accountable for operational excellence, talent development, and building a high-performance culture that supports long-term business growth.
Operational Leadership & Strategy
  • Set direction and priorities for Operations Supervisors and support teams, aligning execution to DC and enterprise goals
  • Establish and monitor KPIs (service, quality, cost, safety) and drive accountability to performance targets
  • Lead cross-functional planning to optimize throughput, service levels, and operational efficiency

People Leadership & Culture
  • Lead through managers and supervisors, ensuring strong engagement, development, and succession planning
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive culture grounded in I2CARE and ILEAD behaviors
  • Coach leaders to drive accountability, performance management, and team development

Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement sustainable process improvements
  • Drive change management initiatives to improve productivity, reduce cost, and enhance service outcomes
  • Standardize processes and ensure consistent execution of SOPs across functions

Safety, Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure compliance with all company, federal, state, and local regulations
  • Champion a safety-first culture and enforce quality standards across operations
  • Maintain audit readiness and operational controls across inventory and distribution processes

Financial & Operational Oversight
  • Manage budgets, labor planning, and expense control to meet financial targets
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and improve operational performance
  • Partner with site and enterprise leaders to align operational plans with business strategy
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of operations experience (distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or production)
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience, including leading through supervisors or managers
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets, expenses, and operational performance metrics
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with WMS systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Six Sigma or Lean experience
  • Knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations
  • Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems
