Job description

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Root Cause & Warranty Technician to join our rapidly evolving team! The Root Cause & Warranty Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting rejected transmission assemblies using test data and previous repair history as a guide.

Core Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair rejected transmission assemblies from production line
  • Inspect and process warranty transmissions and other dealer returns
  • Consistently and accurately log all findings in the required databases
  • Communicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as required
  • Keep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computers
  • Stay up to date regarding product and process changes
  • Stay up to date with and follow all required safety guidelines and procedures

Job Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Knowledge and use of basic hand tools including powered impact wrenches and torque wrenches
  • Basic computer knowledge and use
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance as necessary
  • Ability to work solo and be self-motivated
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and support documents

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Microsoft Office experience (Access and Excel)
  • Automotive/Machinery/Electronics repair experience (work or otherwise)
  • Ability to read hydraulic and/or electrical diagrams
  • Ability to use a multimeter or ohmmeter
