What You'll Do

As a Production Technician, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing operation, helping transform innovative designs into flight-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform complex electro-mechanical assembly using drawings, schematics, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
  • Assemble and test avionics hardware, including:
    • PCB assemblies
    • Cable harnesses
    • Electronic modules
    • Integrated electro-mechanical systems
  • Apply precision bonding materials, adhesives, and epoxies to create reliable, high-quality assemblies.
  • Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and safety standards while operating tools, equipment, and test fixtures.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve build processes, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot assembly challenges and escalate issues appropriately to keep production moving efficiently.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, including torque drivers, drills, calipers, wrenches, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform mechanical PCBA assembly and controlled fastening operations to strict quality and torque specifications.
  • Route, secure, and organize cables and harnesses according to engineering drawings and industry best practices.
  • Accurately record production data, build documentation, and inspection results using computer-based systems.
  • Support sheet metal, tube, and structural assembly activities as needed.
  • Help move and position large assemblies using forklifts, rigging equipment, or material-handling tools where qualified.
  • Maintain exceptional workmanship, ensuring every product meets rigorous aerospace-quality standards.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
  • Hands-on experience assembling mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Experience working with PCB assemblies, electronic modules, and PCBA integration.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and measurement instruments.
  • Experience assembling avionics hardware, cable harnesses, and electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, SOPs, and technical instructions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality-focused production environments.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and production tracking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Experience operating forklifts or rigging equipment is a plus.

Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience working with carbon fiber, composites, epoxies, or advanced bonding techniques.
  • Basic soldering experience.
  • Sheet metal fabrication or mechanical assembly experience.
  • Aerospace, avionics, or electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with controlled fastening systems and torque verification processes.
  • Quality inspection or quality control experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
