Summary: Our Electronic assemblers are responsible for following detailed work instructions for the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of electronic, mechanical and pneumatic devices and following documented test procedures. Performs mechanical troubleshooting and use a variety of hand, pneumatic or power tools while adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA standards. Electronics assemblers will be performing standalone or system testing and documenting and reporting tests results and troubleshooting issues in our repair tracking systems.
Regular schedule is Monday - Thursday: 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.- Availability to work overtime on Fridays is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of components. This includes interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals, as well as adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Wash, clean, and buff components by hand using soap and degreaser in a parts washer, then blow out the parts with compressed air to remove any remaining soap, degreaser, dirt, and debris.
  • Assemble electro-mechanical components by inspecting connections for proper alignment and securing parts and subassemblies. Disassemble components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools. Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep the work area clean and organized on a daily basis in accordance with 5S protocol.
  • Locate and interpret product documentation, including schematic drawings, to accurately execute assembly tasks
  • Complete daily work orders and schedules based on productivity levels assigned by supervisors and line leads. Adapt to changing priorities based on customer demands.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Turn off equipment when not in use.
  • Monitor and manage the shelf life of chemicals at the point of use
  • Cross-functional training in various cells within the same work area and support team members as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow ESD protocols as called out in procedures and company policy
  • Possibility of minor soldering tasks (wires and harness repair)

Minimum Qualifications and requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • Preferred: High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of common mechanical and precision tools i.e., wrenches, pilers, digital calipers/micrometer, feeler gauges, torque wrenches, battery power and pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, test procedures, engineering and graphic work instructions, and test documentations - accurately and consistently in English.
  • Preferred: Experience in electronics, mechanical assembly experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Background in use of hand/power tools i.e., wrenches, pilers, calipers/micrometer, feeler gauges, torque wrenches, battery power and pneumatic tools
  • (air wrench).
  • Basic English skills are required to understand graphic assembly instructions and written test documents, which provide step-by-step guidance. Some data entry into the repair database is also needed.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge (Windows OS [Modern and Legacy])
  • Perform the same task repeatedly.
  • Ability to receive, and implement verbal feedback and adapt to new process, procedural or behavioral changes as needed
  • Background with stand-alone testers or fixtures for testing of various electronics and mechanical devices is preferred.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience in electronic and mechanical assembly, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Required knowledge includes basic mechanics, such as understanding gears, subassemblies, and pneumatic systems, as well as machine calibration procedures, functional testing, and troubleshooting

The hourly rate for this role is currently $22.00 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
