Director, Global IT Hardware Provisioning (Onsite 5X per Week)

The Director, Global IT Hardware Provisioning is responsible for leading and managing global hardware provisioning operations across all Advantage locations and a team of IT Hardware Provisioning Specialists at an onsite location. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of hardware provisioning activities worldwide, including imaging, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of end user devices and infrastructure equipment across all regions. The Director establishes and continuously improves global operational processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high quality service delivery across geographies.

Additionally, this role owns the annual forecast budgeting process for global hardware provisioning, aligning resource planning and procurement strategies with organizational technology roadmaps and business objectives enterprise wide.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily leadership, direction, and mentorship to a globally distributed team of 2 to 7 IT Hardware Provisioning Specialists supporting all Advantage locations, including assigning workloads, monitoring performance, and conducting regular one-on-one and team meetings to ensure alignment with departmental goals across regions.
  • Oversee all global hardware provisioning operations across Advantage locations, including the imaging, configuration, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning of end-user computing devices and peripheral equipment to meet service-level agreements and organizational standards enterprise-wide.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, workflows, and quality-control processes for global hardware provisioning to drive operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability across all Advantage locations.
  • Own the annual forecast budgeting process for global hardware provisioning across all Advantage locations, including projecting equipment refresh cycles, procurement costs, staffing needs, and capital expenditure requirements enterprise-wide, and present budget recommendations to senior leadership for approval.

  • Serve as the primary global escalation point for complex hardware provisioning issues across all Advantage locations, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, regional facilities management, and business stakeholders worldwide to resolve incidents and support organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in relevant field (IT Operations, Hardware Provisioning, or end user computing experience preferred.)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field preferred)
  • IT hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, imaging, configuration, deployment, asset tracking, and decommissioning of end-user computing devices and peripherals.
  • People management and team leadership, including workload planning, performance coaching, and professional development in a technical operations environment.
  • Process design and continuous improvement methodologies applied to IT service delivery workflows, including documentation of standard operating procedures.

Qualifications
