JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Kitchen Technician will be involved in the production of all edible and topical products. This position will be responsible for mixing various ingredients and operating machines.


Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Preps and creates edible and topical products.
  • Weighs out ingredients.
  • Responsible for assembly of ingredients.
  • Molds and unmolds gummies, chocolates, etc.
  • Assists with state testing requirements for each product.
  • Complies with diligent record keeping and data tracking.
  • Assists in packaging of edibles and topicals after testing.
  • Responsible for daily and weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Complies with industrial hygiene procedures
  • Assists in inventory control.
  • May be assigned other job duties if necessary.

Work Environment This job operates in a high-volume production kitchen. The room environment will be cool, around 65 degrees and low humidity at all times. Proper kitchen attire will be required. This role will require using special equipment designed for the production of infused edible products and lotions. The team members will be required to be standing most of the day.


Required Education and Experience

  1. Ability to pass a state mandated background check.
  2. Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Prior kitchen experience
  2. High School Degree or equivalent

FBI/BCI state mandated background check.
