The RSM role will be responsible for driving new revenue growth in the North American Feeding and Weighing portfolio while maintaining relationship with current customers. This position will work with OEM’s, Topcon’s Aftermarket Distribution, and End users. This position will require 50% travel within North America.

Topcon Job Description – RSM, Weighing/ Feeding

Department: Sales Employment Status : Exempt

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Feeding & Weighing

Summary: The role of this position is to grow and develop the Topcon feeding and weighing business with a specific focus in the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in both aftermarket sales and OEM relations. Having a strong aptitude for maintaining and creating a distribution model would be considered an asset. Ideal Candidates will live in New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan, or New England

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve an annual budget for the region set by management

  • Successfully exhibit and manage tradeshows within the region and nationally

  • Maintain and grow relationships with Aftermarket dealers, OEM’s, and experts in the region

  • Create new opportunities for distribution within the region

  • Perform product demos when needed

Requirements and Skills:

  • Country of residence passport (or ability to get one)

  • Understanding of Livestock Feeding Industry

  • Willingness to learn feed management software and hardware

  • Experience working with Dairies / feedlots

  • Experience with Distribution channels

  • Experience in managing a sales region with a budget target

  • Salesforce Experience

  • Ability to travel 50% of time

Physical Environment:

May sit/stand for extended periods. May require lifting up to 50lbs.
