Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ trauma history, strengths, and needs, guiding appropriate treatment planning.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and improving overall well-being.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
  • Facilitate individual therapy and group sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and support one another.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for our clients.
  • Respond to crisis situations with timely intervention, providing support during trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources in the community.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality record-keeping.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic approaches and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, empathetic approach to client care.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in trauma-focused clinical settings.
