Our client is looking for a top notch Construction Project Engineer to join the team. Client Details My client is a Commercial General Contractor that was founded in the 1970s - since growing to be a leader in the mid-sized GC realm for Commercial and Industrial work all local to Maricopa County The office is run by the President - who is extremely involved in the day to day and has an open-door policy with everyone in the firm from the top down Office currently sits at about 30 people between the office and the field - the culture is very tight-knit and everyone has a hard-working but down-to-Earth attitude. Those in the business really know each other personally and professionally making it a very amazing office to come to work each day. Project types are mostly in the Commercial & Industrial realm - they touch just about all sizes from smaller TI projects to larger builds $25M+ Have a very strong focus on safety and process/procedures - run like a larger firm in that aspect to ensure client-satisfaction and smooth projects No forecast to stop growing - plan to healthily grow 15-20% year by year Have an amazing pipeline for 2026-2027 Description Works with (or may be assigned to) the Estimating Department to prepare project cost estimates. Performs quantity take-offs, obtains subcontractor and vendor cost input, prepares cost summaries, and performs data analytics, as directed Assists Project Managers in subcontractor and vendor purchasing, including preparation of bid packages, bidding follow-up, bid analysis, post-bid interviews and subcontractor/vendor award Assists Project Managers in securing governmental and regulatory agency Interacts with Design Professionals and the Owner, as directed Prepares and maintains construction schedules. Assists with pull-planning work sessions, look-ahead schedules, and weekly work Assists with project safety program implementation including safety orientations, safety inspections and safety documentation Tracks and manages subcontractor submittals. Reviews submittals for compliance with Construction Documents. Follows-up and resolves submittal review Tracks and manages Requests for Information (RFI's). Follows-up and resolves RFI issues.
