The successful candidate must possess:
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • A proven commitment to a safe and efficient operation
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • The ability to adapt well to changes and be able to work in a wide variety of settings throughout all levels of the organization
  • The ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and endure prolonged standing and walking, up to 12 hours
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A belief in good maintenance practices
  • His/her own hand tools
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS
BASIC
  • Maintenance experience
  • Computer knowledge
  • Welding / Cutting / Fabrication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment
  • Skills to safely operate forklifts and front-end loaders
