What You'll Do:

As the Office Associate / Accounts Payable you will handle day-to-day accounting, entering in receivables and administrative tasks ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely processing of transactions, and smooth department operations.

Your Accountabilities In The Role:

  1. Receives, verifies and processes vendor invoices ensuring invoices match purchase orders for accurate and timely vendor payment processing.
  2. Assists in the reception area as needed, helping with mail delivery, answering the phone and greeting visitors.
  3. Scans and files documents in a timely and accurate way for ease of retrieval from the team.
  4. Maintains filing systems and day to day processes for accuracy of work.

Position Requirements:

  1. Education: High School Diploma with experience in Business Administration, Accounting or related work experience would be desired.
  2. Experience: 1+ years of administrative, accounts payable and receivable, or data entry experience required.
  3. Certifications: NA
  4. Functional Skills: High attention to detail; ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete work on-time and accurately; strong basic math skills, data entry, and problem-solving skills; highly process-and goal-oriented; ability to move from project to project well.
  5. Technology Skills: Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PPT, Excel & Word). Experince with Sage 50 would be a plus, but not required.
  6. Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to write clearly and concisely.
  7. Leadership/Behaviors: Solid ability to handle multiple projects with thoroughness and accuracy; flexible and adaptable to change; supportive of cross-departmental coordination and collaboration. Able to interchangeably support the team as needed.
