Position: Tool / Mold Maker (Plastic Injection Molding)
Location: Hudson, MA (on-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Compensation: $34 - $38/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Position Summary: This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all plastic injection molds/tools.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and modifying molds by cleaning, grinding and polishing
  • Use various machining processes (milling, grinding, EDM) to maintain molds and fabricate ejector pins
  • Safely and efficiently pull apart molds and complete changeovers
  • Safely use lathe, mill grinder, etc.
  • Partnering with internal teams to understand requirements and recommend enhancements for mold performance
  • Ensure molds meet quality and precision standards in order to manufacture custom products
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Ideal Candidate Experience:
  • Previous experience (5+ years) in Tool/Mold Making for plastic injection molding
  • Willingness to adhere to established procedures and specifications
  • Ability to accurately review blueprints and read, write, and communicate in English
  • Proven experience maintaining accurate records and inventory
