Job description

Toolmaker / CNC Machinist

Revere Staffing Partners is hiring on behalf of one of our premier manufacturing clients in the Waterbury, CT area.

We are seeking experienced Toolmakers and CNC Machinists who thrive in a precision manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, growing company that works with complex materials and tight-tolerance components across multiple industries.

Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Overtime available based on production demands
Compensation
  • Up to $45+ per hour depending on experience
  • Competitive benefits package available through the client
Responsibilities
  • Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling and fixtures
  • Operate and program CNC equipment, including EDM machines and ProtoTRAK mills
  • Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
  • Work with a variety of materials including tool steels, stainless steels, titanium, and engineered plastics
  • Hold tight tolerances and perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Toolmaker, CNC Machinist, Mold Maker, or Precision Machinist
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Experience with CNC EDM equipment and ProtoTRAK mills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience machining steels, titanium, and various plastics
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
