Joon Loloi is seeking a full-time Inventory Planner. In this position, you’ll be responsible for forecasting and planning inventory for multiple textile and hard home categories—thousands of SKUs in total. The ideal candidate can analyze a breadth of data, factoring elements like trends, product lifecycles, minimum order quantities, lead times, timing, warehouse capacity, and more to forecast and plan inventory.

This position reports to our Director, Planning and Inventory Management, and at times works directly with leadership. This role is based in our Dallas, TX headquarters and is onsite 5 days a week. If you’re someone who enjoys the challenge of maintaining optimal inventory levels and timing within a fast-growing company, this is an ideal position for you.

Responsibilities

  • Determine proper inventory levels and re-order orders down to the SKU level based on selling trends.
  • Evaluate in-stock position across categories and communicate to cross-functional partners on opportunities.
  • Partner with the Director of Planning and Inventory Management on evolving planning model/ system for continual inventory management process improvement.
  • Oversee purchase orders with our manufacturers and effectively communicate and follow up on timing expectations.
  • Review, analyze, and present various inventory reports through Excel.
  • Communicate directly with manufacturers for updates on lead times and MOQs.
  • Work cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Merchandising, and Product Development to appropriately forecast inventory needs and prompt deliveries.
  • Steady communication with our manufacturers to ensure accurate ETAs on production orders, packaging requirements, etc.

Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or similar degree.
  • 4+ years of Retail experience in inventory management, forecasting, and planning.
  • Enjoys a team environment and collaborates well cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented and excels at multitasking.
  • Tenacious drive and a positive can-do spirit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including and especially Excel.
  • Naturally analytical and data-driven.
