Job description

Overview

Sturtevant Richmont, a division of Snap-on Incorporated, is seeking a Manual Machinist to set up and operate all tool room machines. 

Responsibilities

Set up and operate all tool room machines Able to do shop mathematics Perform layout work progressive machining and assembly operations on torque products equipment, complicated apparatus or experimental and development work Perform heat treating and case hardening May require testing nonstandard products

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing company or TMA certification

Will consider recent graduates with a TMA certification in lieu of experience Willing to learn how to program Prototrak lathes and mills.

Ability to run Prototrak lathes and mills. Experience using optical comparators and other precision measuring equipment

The pay rate is $32.15 per hour
