Job description

Mobile Logistics Associate-X / Hub Driver - New York
Guaranteed Hours | Toll/Mileage Reimbursement | Part-Time | W-2 Employee | $20.00/hr
About Capsule
Capsule is a pharmacy built around people. Our couriers play a critical role in delivering medication directly to customers and supporting their care. Are you tired of the uncertainty of the gig economy? We believe our couriers are essential team members, not independent contractors. That's why we offer a W-2 employment model built on stability, respect, and a truly competitive compensation package.
What we offer
  • Guaranteed Pay - Stable schedules: You are paid for your full scheduled shift, with reliable hours and a routine you can count on.
  • Opportunity to earn more: Once your set schedule is established, you can pick up additional available shifts throughout the week when business needs allow.
  • Applicable Reimbursement & Tips: We reimburse tolls/mileage incurred during your work shift to help cover gas, maintenance, and vehicle wear. You keep 100% of tips earned while delivering directly to customers.
  • W2 Employment (Not Gig Work): As a W2 employee, you receive:
    • Workers' compensation coverage
    • Unemployment insurance eligibility
    • Stability and legal protections of direct employment
    • Paid Training: We'll provide you with the training and tools you need to succeed.
    • Team Support: You're part of a dedicated team with dispatchers and support staff ready to help.

In this role, you will
  • Distribute routes to couriers and maintain clear communication with Dispatch, couriers, and leads throughout live delivery operations.
  • Resolve real-time route, courier, safety, and delivery issues to help keep deliveries moving and customers on time.
  • Use your personal vehicle as needed during your shift, including completing customer deliveries when operational needs arise.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. You will be required to provide proof of work eligibility before we consider hire.
  • Must have a valid and unexpired driver's license, at least the last 365 days of clean driving history, and 2+ years of experience driving within a metropolitan area. Commercial license preferred.
  • Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle with active auto insurance meeting company and state requirements.
  • Must be comfortable using your personal vehicle throughout scheduled shifts, including trips between the pharmacy, courier meeting points, customer delivery areas, and other operating locations as needed.
  • Ability to safely drive your personal vehicle for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per shift, and safely lift/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle urgent matters independently while maintaining safety, compliance, and a customer-first mentality.
  • Ability to maintain clear communication with Dispatch, couriers, leads, and pharmacy team members throughout your shift.
  • Proven track record of promoting and adhering to safety and compliance standards, including proper use and reporting of required PPE.
  • Prior experience in logistics, courier services, dispatch support, route coordination, or similar roles is a plus.

Work Schedule & Location
  • Fixed Weekly Schedules: Secure a consistent, recurring schedule from day one. Your shifts stay the same week-over-week, providing the stability of guaranteed earnings and a reliable routine.
  • Flexible Add-ons: Once your set schedule is established, you can pick up available additional shifts throughout the week as they become available.
  • Shift Times: Monday - Friday 4:45 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Location: Hub Drivers start and end shifts at Capsule's pharmacy at 122 W. 146th Street, New York, NY 10039, and requires trips to/from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and New Jersey during the shift.
