Nikkiso Cryoquip is a leading manufacturer of heat exchangers, liquefiers, and vaporizers for the LNG and industrial gases industry. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation.

Job Overview

Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Technical Sales, Complex Systems. All Process Systems Technical Sales Managers are responsible to manage and develop their respective product line opportunities, including standard and custom solutions.The sale of an industrial gas plant is a highly complicated process, requiring interaction with various levels of a customerโ€™s organization, equipment vendors, various disciplines of engineering and legal counsel, both a clientโ€™s and ours. An industrial gas plant sale can range between $2 million to greater than $20 million US dollars.

Salary range: $83,821 - $153,600

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the lead to contract process in industrial gases for the western half of the world. Manage all industrial gas opportunities in the Western half of the world and ensure they are responded to within the required time frames. Ensure the highest priority inquiries are given the adequate amount of resourcing and attention.
  • Manage the standard range of their product line by taking a leading role in ensuring that our product range remains the most competitive, efficient, and first choice in the market. Advise management of product development efforts which should be undertaken to improve the product.
  • Seek and receive feedback about our product performance, customer perception and applications to ensure that our products are constantly being developed to include innovative features and added benefits to the customer.
  • Accountable for bookings targets of the product line.
  • Work with the team to set up and execute the marketing strategy, including the development of tools, presentations, brochures, articles, press releases, etc. related to the product.
  • Assist our global sales network with necessary technical and commercial inputs to grow our market share.
  • Develop the training material and programs needed to increase the knowledge and competence of our sales personnel.
  • Monitor the business through periodic follow-ups and participate as needed in business meetings and as needed, with detailed agenda and relevant minutes of meeting.
  • Observe and update on our competitorsโ€™ products and activities.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects, as required.
  • Identify and target attractive new segments and applications.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Technical experience within the industrial gas plant market is a very strong plus.
  • BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.
  • Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field and strong product knowledge will also be considered a plus along with engineering degree.
  • High degree of ability to carefully discern which Opportunities the organization should pursue.
  • History of closing complicated deals (greater than $5 million is a plus).
  • Exposure to pricing strategy and analysis.
  • Able to motivate direct sales with marketing tools and promotional schemes.
  • Fluency (written & oral) in English is a must.
  • Additional Foreign Language fluency is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Committed team player with drive for success.
  • Should have excellent communication skills & creative thinking.Person must be willing to work under critical schedules having in mind the final targeted results planned by management.
  • Willing to travel as required.
