Industry UsageConstruction, remodeling, plumbing servicesMaintenance, repair services, residential or commercial

Toilet installation involves setting up new toilets in homes or buildings, requiring knowledge of plumbing and sometimes licensing. Toilet repair focuses on fixing or troubleshooting existing toilets, often involving less extensive work. Both roles are essential in plumbing services but differ mainly in scope and complexity.

Is installing a toilet a DIY job?

Toilet installation is a task that can be performed as a DIY project by individuals with basic plumbing skills and tools, such as a wrench and plumber's putty. However, it requires knowledge of plumbing connections, proper sealing, and adherence to local building codes, and professional installation is recommended for complex setups or if plumbing issues are involved.
