Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions remotely with clients via a secure and intuitive online platform, adapting to their unique needs and preferences.
• Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans focused on specific client objectives and mental health goals, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Continuously monitor each client’s progress, evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and making necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of all client interactions and treatment plans to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary to provide holistic care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s health and well-being are considered.
• Stay informed about developments in mental health best practices and engage in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health counselor at TMF, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate their unique situations, providing support and strategies tailored to their personal experiences. This role emphasizes cultural competency and sensitivity, as you engage with clients from various backgrounds and walks of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or licensed psychologist). This licensure is essential for providing therapeutic services.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting individual therapy sessions, with a strong understanding of therapeutic methods and client engagement.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to develop trusting relationships with clients.
• Strong capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a virtual team.

Preferred Experience

• Master’s degree or higher preferred, as this reflects a deeper understanding of clinical practices and therapeutic models.
• Prior experience with specialized populations (e.g., adolescents, veterans, etc.) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with holistic or integrative approaches to mental health treatment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time remote position is between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
