Job description

Job Title: DRM (Dimension Relationship Management) Developer
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain DRM dimension management pipelines including DJS job orchestration, S3 file ingestion, and TM1 Dim_Management instance updates.
• Build and manage TM1 processes and workstreams for creating, modifying, and validating financial dimensions .
• Automate dimension build workflows using Airflow, replacing manual execution steps with reliable, scheduled pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot dimension file generation from DRM, S3 bucket delivery, Linux mount synchronization, and TM1 process execution.
• Manage dimension hierarchy logic including alternate hierarchies, orphan handling, attribute mapping (Alias, String, Numeric), and hierarchy skip configurations.
• Support production deployments across Prod, Test, and Dev environments, ensuring proper parameter configuration and backup procedures before dimension loads.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and the DRM team to translate dimension change requests into technical implementations.
• Maintain operational runbooks and respond to dimension build failures during critical close cycles.
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TM1/Planning Analytics (TI processes, cube design, dimension management).
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Redshift, Airflow, and DJS (or equivalent orchestration tools).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation of ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with dimension modeling concepts, hierarchies, and attribute management.
• Experience working with CSV-based data ingestion and file-based orchestration patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with DRM (Dimension Relationship Management) or Oracle DRM/EDMCS.
• Experience with Linux server administration and S3 directory mount configurations.
• Understanding of corporate finance processes - monthly close, quarterly reporting, and planning cycles.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with tight financial close deadlines.
