Job description

As a Title Production Processor, you will be responsible for maintaining a pipeline of settlements, while preparing and issuing all title insurance related documents. You will work with multiple attorney partners, across multiple states, to collect necessary documentation in order to produce the required title insurance forms, i.e. invoice, commitment, ICL/CPL, title insurance policies, etc. You will also be responsible for managing the post-closing of all settlements in your pipeline by confirming receipt of all funds necessary for disbursement & balancing the file in our Escrow Accounting System. In addition, you will oversee the reporting functions related to work flow, helping our high-volume operations to run smoothly.

This position is based on-site in our NVR mortgage offices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver all title insurance related documents to the parties involved.
  • Understand title insurance products and be able to answer questions and resolve problems related thereto.
  • Develop a positive working relationship with each attorney's office.
  • Assist operations team to ensure timely disbursements and accurate accounting records
  • Confirm receipt of all funds necessary for disbursement & balance file in Escrow Accounting System

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of settlement processing and/or title industry experience preferred
  • Title insurance license in state of residence (or ability to acquire)
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance, and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite, especially Excel program.
  • Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, and team mentality, during busy times.
