This is a full-time, onsite position based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the potential for a hybrid schedule as the role develops.


About the Position


We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from opening through funding and final disbursement.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to confidently navigate complex transactions while delivering a superior experience to clients, lenders, attorneys, real estate professionals, and underwriters.

You will play a critical role in our growth and have the opportunity to work alongside a team of accomplished professionals who are passionate about raising the bar in the title industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Open, manage, and close residential and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Review title commitments, surveys, lien searches, payoff statements, and closing documentation.
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and underwriters throughout the transaction process.
  • Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable underwriting requirements, state regulations, and company procedures.
  • Manage escrow funds and trust accounting with accuracy and integrity.
  • Schedule and conduct closings in a professional and client-focused manner.
  • Resolve title, escrow, and closing issues efficiently and proactively.
  • Facilitate wire transfers, funding, disbursements, and post-closing activities.
  • Maintain detailed transaction records and provide exceptional service throughout the closing process.
  • Assist in developing best practices and operational efficiencies as our company continues to grow.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of escrow closing experience.
  • Strong understanding of Florida title insurance and settlement procedures.
  • Experience handling both residential and commercial transactions preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound professional judgment.
  • Proficiency with title and escrow software systems.
