Job description

Title Clerk

Parkway KIA South is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team in Rosharon, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing vehicle titles and related paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, helping to facilitate smooth vehicle registration and ownership transfer processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process paperwork from the F&I Department.
  • Prepare and review vehicle titles and related documents for accuracy.
  • Submit and track titles with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and other relevant agencies.
  • Maintain records of all title transactions and ensure timely processing.
  • Communicate with customers, dealerships, and state officials regarding title issues and status updates.
  • Resolve title discrepancies and work to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assist in training new team members on title processing procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
  • Coordinate runner errands with others in the office.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to type at least 50 wpm. One year of general office experience. Automotive accounting experience preferred.
  • Title Clerk needs to stay certified through the state to process registration.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar administrative role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of DMV rules and regulations is a plus.
