Independence Title in the Texas area, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services is seeking a candidate for a Counsel position.  Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
The Counsel position is responsible for:

  • Escrow and Title Support - motivating, providing guidance for, and effectively communicating with staff 
  • Assist with Staff Growth and Development - support the training and development goals of the Company
  • Business Development Engagement- Develop and Maintain relationships to generate business for the Company
  • Legal & Underwriting Support- Assist Company Counsel and Chief Title officer with legal matters, claims, underwriting and title operations as needed
  • Education & Training Support- Utilize industry knowledge and experience to create CE classes for Realtors and/or Attorneys

Qualifications:

  • Active License with State Bar of Texas with a minimum of 4 years required
  • Minimum of 4 years of Title Industry experience required
  • Extensive and well-rounded knowledge of Title Insurance industry required
  • Microsoft Suite proficient
  • Flexibility to travel and reliable transportation required
