Environmental Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the head of the environmental division in Châlons-en-Champagne, you will participate in the environmental policy of the establishment and notably:

  • Update the files of ICPE and IOTA exploited by the SID-NE on its perimeter of responsibility.
  • Develop the surveillance and operation plans of these installations, ensuring their good maintenance.
  • Conduct surveillance visits of these installations.
  • Develop, for these installations, the expressions of needs regarding renovation, heavy maintenance, and/or compliance works.
  • Ensure the function and missions assigned to the water process pilot to ensure the sanitary safety of EDCH produced and distributed on the built perimeter of Suippes, in liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in the preparation of inspection visits conducted by the General Control of the Armies and assist the latter during these visits.
  • Advise local SID actors on biodiversity.
  • Relay to all SID personnel exercising on its perimeter the information from technological and regulatory monitoring.
  • Ensure the implementation of directives and procedures governing the monitoring and elimination of waste produced by the establishment.
  • Ensure the realization of mandatory controls and follow up on the lifting of non-conformities.
  • Participate in all activities necessary for the proper functioning of the service.
Required Profile

Holder of a bachelor's degree in SSTE, you have first experience in the environmental field. You master environmental regulations and the management of environmental risks. You have significant skills regarding the general characteristics of structures and more specifically the management of drinking water and waste, as well as the preservation of biodiversity. Your writing skills, your organizational abilities, your decision-making support, and your sense of teamwork are indispensable for the exercise of these missions. You also participate in all activities necessary for the proper functioning of the service. Depending on the selected profile, training at the start of the position will be offered: trade training organized by the SID, the defense training center (CFT), and the defense management training center (CFMD), PPE training and specialized in the field of water.
