Titan Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead ongoing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of enterprise IT systems, networks, and services in a 24x7x365 environment within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The Operations Manager Lead will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, systems uptime, infrastructure health, patching cycles, and support desk performance. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical knowledge, ITIL-based management experience, and the ability to lead teams in dynamic environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all O&M functions including systems administration, patch management, asset management, backup/recovery, and monitoring.
  • Supervise service desk operations, incident escalation, and Tier 2/3 support resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with security standards and support incident response and audit readiness.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and change control processes.
  • Ensure continuity through disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.

You MUST have:
  • 7+ years of experience managing IT operations and infrastructure environments.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • Security+ certification (CISSP highly preferred)
  • At least one major platform certification (Azure/AWS/VMware)
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required

It's great if you also have:
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring, backup, imaging, and endpoint management tools.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based operations and security compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with classified environments and system accreditation requirements preferred.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
