Tiny Town is looking for a compassionate, patient, and loving Infant Teacher to join our Elyria team! Our infant teachers play one of the most important roles in our center—providing a safe, nurturing environment where babies can grow, explore, and reach exciting developmental milestones.
We're looking for someone who lights up when they see little smiles, celebrates every "first," and understands that every cuddle, bottle, story, and song helps build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

???? Schedule
Monday–Friday

Choose the schedule that works best for you:
  • 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
    OR
  • 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
???? What You'll Do
  • Provide loving, responsive, and attentive care to infants throughout the day.
  • Create a warm, safe, and welcoming classroom where every baby feels secure and loved.
  • Encourage early learning through tummy time, sensory exploration, music, stories, singing, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Celebrate developmental milestones and support each child's individual growth.
  • Follow individualized feeding, diapering, sleeping, and care routines with consistency and compassion.
  • Build trusting relationships with families through daily communication and updates.
  • Keep the classroom clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Accurately document daily activities, feedings, diaper changes, naps, and milestones.
  • Work together with fellow teachers to create a positive, supportive team environment.
  • Follow all Ohio Department of Children and Youth licensing requirements and Tiny Town policies to ensure the highest quality of care.

✅ Qualifications
  • Previous infant, childcare, nanny, or early childhood experience is preferred.
  • CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or a related degree is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must meet all Ohio Department of Children and Youth requirements for employment in a licensed childcare center.
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift infants, get on the floor to play, and maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
