First Baptist Church of Billings (fbcblgsmt.com) seeks a spiritual leader for pastoral care, administration, and visionary guidance. As a Mission Northwest congregation, we desire a shepherd dedicated to biblical faithfulness and community impact, meeting the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and 2 Timothy 4:2.



Requirements

Spiritual Leadership & Preaching

-Deliver Christ-centered, Scripture-based sermons relevant to daily life.

-Engage seekers and believers through effective teaching and Bible studies.

-Collaborate with staff to plan cohesive weekly worship services.

-Align ministries with the church’s mission and vision for growth.


Relational Leadership & Care

-Build trust through authentic relationships and presence in church life.

-Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and visitation (hospitals/homes).

-Support the congregation through celebrations, crises, and transitions.


Collaborative & Community Engagement

-Partner with deacons, staff, and lay leaders in shared leadership.

-Foster unity and support congregational decision-making.

-Actively engage and build relationships within the Billings community.


Vision & Administration

-Lead the church through its next chapter while honoring its history.

-Oversee financial resources and ensure alignment with church policies.


Qualifications

-Deep relationship with Christ, humility, integrity, and a shepherd’s heart.

-M.Div preferred; ordained or ordainable through Mission Northwest.

-Minimum 3 years of pastoral or comparable leadership experience.
