Time Warner Center information

What is the Time Warner Center?

The Time Warner Center is a mixed-use building complex located at Columbus Circle in Manhattan, New York City. It consists of two twin skyscrapers connected by a multi-story atrium, and houses offices, luxury residences, the Mandarin Oriental hotel, retail space, and the performance venue Jazz at Lincoln Center. The complex serves as both a commercial and residential hub, and is known for its upscale shops, restaurants, and cultural events. It was originally developed as the headquarters for Time Warner Inc., but now hosts a variety of tenants and attractions.

What types of roles are commonly available at the Time Warner Center, and how do teams typically collaborate within the complex?

The Time Warner Center houses a diverse range of employers, including retail stores, restaurants, media companies, and luxury residences. Roles often span customer service, hospitality, retail management, corporate operations, and media production. Collaboration is highly cross-functional, with teams frequently interacting across departmentsβ€”such as marketing working with retail staff or media teams coordinating events with building management. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering opportunities to network and advance within large organizations located onsite.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a building manager at the Time Warner Center, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Building Manager at the Time Warner Center, you need expertise in facility operations, maintenance management, and a background in property management or engineering. Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), and relevant certifications such as CPM or FMA are typically required. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for coordinating teams and ensuring tenant satisfaction. These skills are vital for maintaining building safety, operational efficiency, and a high standard of service in a large, complex property.

  • Previous keyholder, shift-lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Strong visual merchandising and product storytelling skills.
Why Join Us
At Moleskine, you'll do more than sell products - you'll help empower creativity, nurture imagination, and celebrate self-expression. Together, we create experiences that remind the world of the beauty of ideas and the timeless act of writing them down.
