is seeking an experienced Real-Time Software Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include development of real-time software in support of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) test capabilities; software development, integration, and maintenance efforts utilizing cross-discipline engineering resources and skills; and integration of hardware, software, and simulation models into real-time HWIL simulations. All these duties will support the U.S

Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in the area of missile research and development. Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution 3 + years of experience Required: Experience with object-oriented software development in C++ Experience with low-level systems programming in C Experience with Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat Experience with real-time systems and software Independent and self-motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker Desired: Experience with Linux kernel module and device driver development Experience with version control software and issue tracking (specifically Git and GitLab) Experience with Bash scripting Experience with other programming languages, including Python, Fortran, and Ada A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.

Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required
