Job description

Position Overview
The Project Engineer plays a key role in successful delivery of projects to our end-clients. This unique opportunity presents an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by providing expertise within a diverse stack of technologies, security, and cloud platforms. The Project Engineer is responsible for successful execution of all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The ideal candidate will be detailed, thorough, driven, and process oriented with a keen focus on technical expertise and quality.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30 pm EST

Position Responsibilities

  • Apply high-quality technical expertise towards the completion of projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Perform engineering services both remotely, and onsite to metro-area clientele, ranging from cloud services implementation to network deployments.
  • Implement pre-defined IT systems, policies, and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and workarounds for identified risks.
  • Create, update and validate project documentation including but not limited to diagrams, configuration management database and knowledgebase articles.
  • Maintain compliance with organization and client specific security and data privacy requirements.
  • Regular communication with Project Manager and Project Team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for success in the following KPIs:

  • Project issue tickets
  • Projects Tickets completed within budget hours
  • Projects Tickets completed on-time
