We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist in Adel, IA to join our team. What You’ll Do

You will play an important role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations and helping ensure vendor transactions are handled accurately and on time.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy
  • Route matched invoices for approval
  • Prepare and process payments by check, ACH, and other approved methods
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries or discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing activities
  • Process and enter vendor invoices
  • Enter payables into the ERP/manufacturing system

Additional Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Manage and maintain online customer and vendor accounts
  • Assist with special projects and other assigned duties as needed
