Description
Currently hiring for AM and PM Busser positions
The Cascade Dining Room is the flagship restaurant of the historic Timberline Lodge. The Cascade Dining Room offers exciting, fresh cuisine made with locally-sourced ingredients. From our seasonal menus to our award-winning wine program and glacier-fed microbrewery, we put exceptional care and effort into every aspect of our guests' dining experience.
Greet and seat guests, clear tables, fill water glasses, perform stocking and side work jobs.
Requirements
  • Greeting and seating guests as needed.
  • Clear and reset tables, refill water.
  • Pre-bussing of tables, side work.
  • Maintain a sanitary work environment per health code department.
  • Proper delivery of soiled dishes to kitchen.
  • Ensure trash is properly disposed and linen is delivered to loading dock.
  • Re-stock for next shift.
  • Set up and tear down bus stations.
  • Help bartenders, servers, cooks and host as needed.
  • Actively participate in RLK and Company's Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace
  • Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have service oriented personality.
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
  • Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of menu offerings.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of sections and tables.
  • Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services.
  • Know and follow all proper service procedures.
  • Know and follow all proper reservation procedures.
  • Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays & nights.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work in a tight space with balance and poise.
  • Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 - 10 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
  • Must be able to work 40 hr. week as business levels require.
