As a Data Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes. This role requires strong programming skills in Python, and proficiency in AWS technologies, including Infrastructure as Code and key services such as S3, KMS, Glue/EMR, SNS,SQS, and Athena. Collaboration with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency is a crucial aspect of this role.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to facilitateseamless data flow.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data warehouse and data lake solutions to meetgrowing organizational data needs.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for enhanced performance and costefficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to support their analyticalrequirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems, identifying and resolving issuespromptly.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience in the software engineering field will also be considered.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Proficient in AWS, with the ability to design and architect AWS Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS Cloudformation, CDK, or Serverless Framework. Experience with AWS services such as S3, KMS, Glue/EMR, SNS, SQS, and Athena is essential.
  • Experience working with AWS Glue and/or AWS EMR is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Data Warehouse solutions, including Snowflake and/or Redshift.
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and/or Dagster.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
