The Team You'll Work With
As a Production Teammate, you'll be an essential part of our Spokane manufacturing team, directly contributing to the creation of the world's most beautiful and sustainable tile. This hands-on role involves mastering various stages of our production process, from raw material preparation to glazing and packaging, all while maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. You'll work with a high-performing team, where cross-training and continuous improvement are key to our shared success. This position starts at $18.00.
The opportunities you will have
  • Crafting Tile: Prepare and mix raw materials for ceramic tile and glazes, operate production machinery, and perform intricate assembly tasks.
  • Quality & Inspection: Sort, lift, catch, and safely package finished tile, conducting thorough quality checks to ensure our products meet Fireclay's signature quality standards.
  • Inventory & Organization: Assist with pulling and organizing materials for various departments (Glaze, Mosaics, Hand Painting).
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, diligently adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other production departments and support additional tasks as needed to meet production goals.

About You
  • Proven ability to work independently and solve practical problems with a logical approach, under general supervision.
  • An excellent attendance record and a strong commitment to reliability and performance.
  • Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work in a dynamic production setting.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds throughout a shift.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling for extended periods.
  • Skilled in using hands for fine motor tasks, reaching, and communicating effectively.
