PROCESS ENGINEER
Position Summary and Objective

Design and implementation of process equipment strategies, coordinating process activities with other discipline engineers within the company.Need to possess an understanding of mass balances, fluid transfer and energy balance, as well as, problem analysis.Candidate should be a professional, self-motivated, and energetic individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Essential Functions
  1. Develop process design basis and select unit operations
  2. Prepare process flow & piping and instrumentation diagrams
  3. Prepare mass and energy balances
  4. Size and specify process and process utility equipment
  5. Equipment procurement and bid evaluation
  6. Assist project management with the development of project scope, budget and schedule for all process related work
  7. Help coordinate the schedules and work of contractors for process equipment installation
  8. Oversee process and utility equipment installations
  9. Start-up and Commissioning

Required Education, Skills and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office suite. AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  3. Strong technical and writing skills
  4. Three (3) plus years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting or working as a consulting process engineer is preferred
  5. Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus, but not required

Travel Requirements
Travel requirements are project specific and variable but typically average 10-30%.
