Description

The Floorcare Maintenance Technician role within Real Estate Operations has responsibility for floor maintenance, upholstery cleaning and temporary coverage for routine office cleaning and janitorial services within our Retail and back-office facilities.

In this role you will be provided a portfolio of sites where it will be your responsibility to complete floor maintenance duties that include stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, and deep cleaning of various floor types.  Work orders will be issued for each location to complete twice yearly.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Floor maintenance cleaning of various types of flooring. (VCT, Ceramic tile, carpet, wood, LVT, vinyl sheet goods, rubber tile, and other types at each facility.)
  • Use of floor machines and extractors to clean and sanitize flooring and upholstery.  (Chairs, cubicle walls, and other soft fabric materials)
  • Traveling to and from facilities within a designated route/radius
  • Maintaining all floors and upholstery in the assigned facilities.
  • Executing normal cleaning tasks and special projects when required cleaning designated facility areas when Janitorial staff needs coverage to include, (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
  • Closing out work orders upon completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System via cellphone, iPad, or computer access at facilities     
  • Communicating in a pleasant and professional manner with internal Colleagues and external Customers            
  • Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, tools and materials in vehicles 
  • Responsibility for maintaining bank supplied vehicle and electronics

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in Floor cleaning role, required.
  • Ability to provide normal cleaning tasks and special projects when required cleaning designated facility areas when Janitorial staff needs coverage to include, (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)
  • Proven customer service experience 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to communicate in English, including reading and writing
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
  • Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials: 

  • Valid Driver's License, required 

Hours & Work Schedule 

Hours per Week: 40

  • Possibility of some overtime during evenings and weekends         

Work Schedule: 4:00PM to 2:00AM Monday through Thursday

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
