Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team. In this role, you will restore pool masonry and install pool masonry. You will use a combination of modern power tools and traditional hand tools. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a skilled Mason and a love of the craft. Previous experience installing tile and coping is required.

Responsibilities

Mix cement and mortar

Texture and polish blocks of stone

Install dressed stone

Restore damaged stonework

Assist in building layout, framing, sheathing, and roofing structures

Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic construction tasks

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Train apprentices in masonry skills

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Mason or in a similar position

Certification or training in masonry is preferred

Ability to collaborate with other construction professionals

Strong attention to detail

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
