Job description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're seeking a Service Technician with a whatever-it-takes approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the physical asset meets both company standards and applicable laws. As technician, you'll diagnose problems and make repairs. You will provide hands-on trouble-shooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, tiling, masonry and appliances.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
  • Address, follow up and document service requests
  • Assist with inventory maintenance
  • Diagnose heat problems and repair or replace components, as needed
  • Perform preventive maintenance on fan coil and convector HVAC units
  • Complete additional preventive maintenance inspections as scheduled
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
  • Ensure all work and documentation comply with internal quality control standards
  • Maintain personal supply of tools as designated by SMC's Tool Checklist
  • Address emergency maintenance as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
  • Contribute to community and company engagement efforts
