The Grout Genie is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Tile Restoration Assistant.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, gain hands-on field experience, and build a long-term career in tile restoration, repair, and installation.

You will work directly alongside an experienced tile professional while assisting with residential projects throughout Northern Virginia. The position begins with jobsite support and includes hands-on training toward advancement into a Restoration Technician role.

What You Will Do:
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Prepare and protect customer work areas.
  • Set up and organize tools and equipment.
  • Assist with tile and grout cleaning and restoration.
  • Assist with grout, silicone, and minor tile repairs.
  • Support demolition, preparation, and installation work.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
  • Clean and properly store tools and equipment.
  • Communicate respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Follow company procedures and jobsite safety requirements.

Previous tile experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning the trade.

Schedule:
  • Full Time: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Start and end times may vary depending on project locations and customer schedules.
  • Occasional extended days or Saturdays may be required.

Compensation:
  • Starting pay: $18-$20 per hour based on experience.
  • Opportunities for pay increases as skills and responsibilities grow.
  • Advancement potential into a Restoration Technician role with an earning potential to make $75,000+++/year.
