REPORTS TO: VP of Marketing & Communications, Tidal Grow AgriScience
STATUS: Full time, exempt
LOCATION: remote
SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $95,000/year based on interview outcome and qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a talented, agriculture-savvy Marketing Specialist to join the Tidal Grow AgriScience team. This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who understands agricultural audiences and knows how to transform industry knowledge into compelling content that resonates with growers, retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
The Marketing Specialist will serve as a versatile marketing resource, developing engaging social media content, creating sales and marketing collateral, and producing visually compelling print and digital assets. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this individual will help communicate the value of Tidal Grow's innovative biological solutions through clear messaging, thoughtful design, and strategic content development.
The ideal candidate combines agricultural industry experience with exceptional copywriting, content creation, and design skills. Success in this role requires creativity, attention to detail, strong project management abilities, and a passion for advancing sustainable agriculture through effective communication and marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Social Media & Content Development
  • Develop, write, and publish original content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Build and manage content calendars aligned with seasonal agronomic cycles, product campaigns, trade shows, and new product launches
  • Capture and repurpose field content from customer visits, product trials, industry events, and conferences
  • Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and agricultural marketing best practices

Marketing Communications & Copywriting
  • Create compelling, on-brand content for brochures, sell sheets, technical bulletins, email campaigns, advertisements, website pages, trade show materials, and other marketing assets
  • Translate technical product information into clear, customer-focused messaging
  • Collaborate with sales, agronomy, product development, and commercial teams to support product positioning and campaign execution
  • Proofread and edit marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality

Design & Creative Development
  • Design and develop visually compelling marketing materials for print and digital channels - preferably using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Create social graphics, presentation materials, sales collateral, and branded assets
  • Maintain brand standards and visual consistency across all communications
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other content creation tools to support marketing initiatives

Marketing Operations & Event Support
  • Support trade show planning and execution, including booth materials, promotional items, and event communications
  • Assist with photography, videography, and content gathering activities
  • Track campaign performance and marketing metrics and provide reporting to leadership
  • Support broader marketing initiatives and projects as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, content development, or related fields
  • Travel 10-25%
  • Agricultural industry experience required
  • Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills
  • Experience managing social media content and marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and content creation tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency while maintaining authentic, human-centered content

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Agricultural Communications, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as ActiveCampaign
  • Familiarity with WordPress and website content management systems
  • Experience supporting product launches, field marketing, or agricultural sales organizations
  • Existing relationships with or knowledge of agricultural media, trade shows, and industry organizations

Licensing & Special Requirements
  • Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most work is performed remotely in a home office environment. Occasional travel may be required to support trade shows, customer visits, field trials, company meetings, and industry events.
